Are you looking for a roofer that will leave your home “Leak free and in good condition” ? Then don’t employ these people.
I was recommended to Cliff at Rainhill Roofing as I had water coming into my loft around the chimney stack. Cliff came and I showed him a video I had taken of the water dripping into my loft. He replaced the lead around the stack and also told me that the lead flashing on my extension needed replacing. asked him to do that when he’d finished the main roof.. He had to remove a downspout to replace the flashing and then seal the flashing into the wall with mastic. The downspout blew off in the wind after he’d replaced it and he used dark grey mastic across half of the house and light grey on the other half. He didn’t put any behind the downspout, leading to water getting in at that point. He said the use of two different coloured mastics was ‘acceptable’. Maybe on your house Cliff, but certainly not mine. There was still water coming in via the chimney stack and Cliff came back and made some half hearted attempts to stop it but these were unsuccessful. He suggested that I get someone in to re-point the stack and paint it with a sealer. Err…that’s why I employed you Cliff, to stop a water leak. I told him I wasn’t happy about the whole job and he refunded the money he’d charged me for the leadwork around the stack. He’d also broken some tiles and punched a hole in the underfelt on my roof. I replaced two of the tiles on my extension myself. The pictures show the ‘quality’ of work from these people and if anyone is in any doubt, they’re welcome to come to my house and have a look for themselves. Beware of Rainhill Roofing - you have been warned. Absolute rubbish ‘roofers’.

Can't praise Cliff and his team enough. Extremely honest, very reasonably priced with no nasty surprises. Got on with the job without any fuss, kept us updated, even moved our gutters inline with the new roof without charge. Totally recommend, thank you for a fantastic job done.

Not a great experience to have a flat roof which leaks. However, Cliff of Rainhill roofing put a new rubber roof up for me and at a fair price.
Had a problem. But Cliff responded right away and solved my problem.
Would I recommend him?
